Who do we sell to?

In this industry, markets are very highly segmented. Basically, finished products go into Commercial Applications (a hotel, an office building, airport counters, etc.). These can be very large jobs, fabricated and shipped in multiple phases, or they can be small self-contained jobs. The second type of market is Residential Applications. This is, perhaps, the way that solid surfaces are most well- known (kitchen renovations, wet walls around a tub or a laundry sink). Finally, you have Specialty Applications, where the solid surface is used by a shipbuilder on their boats, or as speaker covers, or even outdoor signage.

Beyond the application where the job is headed, is the equally important manner by which the material makes its way along the supply chain. As Wholesale Certified Fabricators and Installers, our attention is not focused on homeowners or end-users, even though we may be stomping around their house with steel-tipped boots on our feet - that's merely the installation part. We sell finished goods to Kitchen and Bath Dealers, Cabinet Shops, Remodelers, Builders, General Contractors, Plumbing Wholesalers, Plumbing Contractors, Home Centers, etc. We do attempt to find out where these companies are sending/installing the materials, so that the manufacturer of the surfacing material can track these sales and determine if their marketing strategies are working. For that same reason, we may ask you some questions about a job on which we are bidding.
