Eagle Fabrication Receives New Jersey Education
Grants For Workers
Phil DeCaro, Owner and Founder of Eagle Fabrication, is pleased to announce that his company – home to 32 workers – has found a way to bring extra value to them, by applying for and being approved by The State OF New Jersey for an Educational Grant. “Our first order of business is to set up ESL classes (English As A Second Language) for all interested employees”, DeCaro said. Adding, “The State has seen fit to provide us with this on-site language instructor and we intend to make full use of the time by opening the courses to not just Eagle Fabrication employees, but also to each team members' families.” Classes in conversational English, along with technical/shop terminology, will begin in the spring and continue year out. When asked about the value of such a program, Phil DeCaro responded “the more we can do to create a unified workforce, which includes enhanced communication, the more productivity and value we can bring to our Customers.”
